Siemens IT Solutions and Services is a service provider which is part of Siemens AG headquarters. Siemens IT Solutions and Services provides information technology solutions and services for the complete IT service chain – from consulting to systems integration and IT infrastructure management right through to industry-specific IT solutions. Siemens IT Solutions and Services was formed in January 2007 and generated annual sales revenues of approx. €5.3 billion worldwide. The Siemens Division is present in 44 countries and employs some 41.000 people.
Siemens IT Solutions and Services was formed on 1 October 2007, when the Civil and National Security (ICS), Siemens Business Services (SBS) and Software Solutions (SWS) groups came together forming the one group of Siemens IT Solutions and Services.[1]
As a cross-sector business Siemens IT Solutions and Services supports the Siemens Industry, Energy and Healthcare Sectors that possesses IT. Special focus is on fully integrated, industry-specific IT solutions developed together with the Siemens Sectors. Siemens IT Solutions and Services develops the existing outsourcing and IT solution business with external customers and handles the worldwide operation of Siemens IT and finally develops software for the products and systems of other Siemens Groups.
The present CEO is Dr. Christoph Kollatz, Dr. Martin Bentler acts as CFO.
