Silence at Sea is a lo-fi folk duo from Cardiff. They are Laura Janes (vocals) and g (guitar) - who usually performs live dressed in a Cat costume. Both of them also previously played in Little My and Hornby Pylons, and Laura is a member of Pagan Wanderer Lu's band The Volunteers.
Live they are joined by Nicola Jones (glockenspiel and melodica), David Roberts (violin) and Andy Regan (guitar/bass/accordion).
They were featured on the 'This town ain't big enough for the 22 of us' compilation released by Twisted by Design alongside Los Campesinos, Spencer McGarry Season, Attack+Defend and others.
