Simpson Street is a local station on the IRT White Plains Road Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Simpson Street and Westchester Avenue in the Bronx, it is served by the 2 train at all times, and the 5 train daily except rush hours in the peak direction.

The station layout is similar in style to Prospect Avenue, with the exception of being able to enter at the rear of the old booth. There are three tracks and two side platforms. A glass block elevator tower is to the southeast and northwest of the station. There is a 10 MPH (16 km/h) curve just north of the station.

Simpson Street Station was originally built on November 26, 1904 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 17, 2004, along with IRT Substation #18.[3]
