Sindagi or Sindgi is a town in Bijapur district, about 60 km to the east of Bijapur. It is in the Indian state of Karnataka.

Sindagi is located at 16°55′N 76°14′E / 16.92°N 76.23°E[1]. It has an average elevation of 500 metres (1640 feet).

As of 2001[update] India census[2], Sindagi had a population of 27,749. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Sindagi has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 63%, and female literacy is 49%. 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
