Social Evolution & History (sometimes abbreviated SEH) is an international journal focused on the development of human societies in the past, present and future. By integrating anthropology, history, sociology, philosophy and historical theory, the journal serves as an interdisciplinary forum for scholars. The journal acts as a forum for debate about key issues and concepts in the above mentioned fields, challenging and re-examining the boundaries of the search.
SEH is published in English twice a year, in March and September, and is printed by Uchitel Publishers. The editors are Dmitri Bondarenko, Leonid Grinin and Andrey Korotayev.
SEH's Editorial Board and Advisory Editors Council include Randall Collins, Patricia Crone, Shmuel Eisenstadt, Michael Mann and Immanuel Wallerstein.
