The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is the apex industry body representing 38 leading vehicle and vehicular engine manufacturers in India.

SIAM is an important channel of communication for the Automobile Industry with the Government, National and International organisations. The Society works closely with all the concerned stake holders and actively participates in formulation of rules, regulations and policies related to the automobile industry.

SIAM organizes the biennial Auto Expo series of trade fairs in co-operation with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA).The latest is the 9th Auto Expo held in New Delhi from January 11, 2008.

The President of SIAM currently is Pawan Goenka, head of Mahindra's Automotive Division,while Eicher Group CEO S Sandilya is elected as VP and Mr Dilip Chenoy is the Director General.

SIAM will celebrate 50 years, this is a major landmark, it represents 50 years of Automotive Manufacturing in India,In addition to the domestic manufacturers, such as TATA, Mahindra,& Reva, today Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, Skoda, Renault, GM and Ford, all assemble vehicles in India. Each year the member companies (Usually in September), meet for a AGM, The SIAM Annual Convention, which attracts the worlds top automotive players, such as Sergio Marchionne of FIAT, Bernd Bohr of Bosch, Fritz Henderson of GM.
