South Broad Valley is a neighborhood in Newark, New Jersey. It borders South Ironbound, Dayton, Lower Clinton Hill, Springfield/Belmont and The Coast. It is bounded by The McCarter Highway, Peddie St, Irvine Turner Blvd, Avon Ave, Clinton Ave, Lincoln Pl, Pennsylvania Ave and South St. The area is a residential neighborhood with Elizabeth Ave, Frelinghuysen Ave and Broad St running through it (all north-south roads). The neighborhood is home to the locally well-known Malcolm X Shabazz High School and two small parks: Milford and one on Gillett Place.
