South Nias Regency is a regency in North Sumatra. In 2000, the regency covered an area of 1,825 square kilometres and according to the 2000 census had a population of 259,590 people.[1]Its seat is Teluk Dalam.

Sorake Beach is second best in the world after Hawaii Beach for surfing. It has 5 level of waves which only occurs here.[2]
