South Plympton is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Marion. South Plympton's postcode is 5038, its post office is located at Forbes Shopping centre on Marion Road.
South Plympton is home to Tabor Christian College, a Reception to Year 12 school oversighted by Tabor Adelaide.[2]
The suburb was originally divided into smaller suburbs including Forbes, Harcourt Gardens and Vermont, which were amalgamated into South Plympton in 1947.[3]
