SouthStar (born ca. 1980 in Hawaii as Robert Campman) is an Asian American hip-hop artist who is best known for his music in the hip-hop duo Smilez and Southstar based in Orlando, Florida. Southstar is Chinese/Filipino-American.
Smilez and Southstar had a Top 40 hit with the song "Tell Me" in late 2002.[1]
