Space Vol 1 & 2 is a live album by the British hard rock band Deep Purple. The show was recorded live in Germany on July 11th, 1970 at the Reiterstadion in Aachen. It originated as a bootleg recording According to Rumors, the Album was recorded in a van under the stage, which most certainly accounts for the overloaded vocals.
