SpinetiX is a Swiss hardware manufacturer of professional hardware devices aimed at providing an open platform for digital signage applications based on standard web-technologies. Their products are called 'Hyper Media Players' and work with W3C standards such as SVG, SMIL, JavaScript, PHP et cetera. The HMP devices are non-pc based, compact and low energy consumption devices using Hyper Media.

  • HMP100 won the rAVe Publications 'Best non-PC hardware solution' [2] in 2009.
  • 2010: Scala announced integration with the Hyper Media Player platform. [3]
