Sports Illustrated Kids (SI Kids, trademarked Sports Illustrated KIDS, sometimes Sports Illustrated for Kids) is a spin-off of the weekly U.S. sports magazine Sports Illustrated. SI Kids was launched in January 1989.

Sports Illustrated Teen (SI Teen, trademarked Sports Illustrated TEEN, sometimes Sports Illustrated for Teen) is a special section written for the older readers of SI Kids. It is published eleven times a year (February to December's double issue) within regular issues of the weekly SI Kids.[1]

The first issue of Sports Illustrated Kids featured newly inducted hall of fame member, Michael Jordan, on the cover.

In March 2006, the Topps company and Sports Illustrated Kids announced a marketing alliance to increase the overall awareness of trading card collecting among kids.[2] One element of the alliance includes the SI Kids Topps Card Club, a multimedia program designed for young sports fans.
