|Broadcast area||Canada, United States|
|Format||(French) sports news and information|
|Class||Satellite Radio Station|
Sports extra, sometimes also labeled Sport extra, was a French language sporting news and information radio station, programmed by the Société Radio-Canada for Sirius Satellite Radio. It was available to all Sirius subscribers in Canada and the United States.
Until October 2007, the channel was known as Infoplus, and was a French language news station. The station was primarily an audio simulcast of the CBC's Réseau de l'information, with some additional programming sources. It is assumed that the channel was flipped to a French language sports talker, because the service had two French news/talk channels while having no French sports coverage.
The CBC still provides a French language news service to Sirius subscribers on channel 170, called Première.
