As of the census of 2000, there were 238 people, 94 households, and 73 families residing in the township. The population density was 6.6 people per square mile (2.5/km²). There were 113 housing units at an average density of 3.1/sq mi (1.2/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 99.58% White and 0.42% Asian.
There were 94 households out of which 31.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.3% were married couples living together, 4.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.3% were non-families. 20.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
