Stăuceni is a Moldovan commune, located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) in the north-est of Chişinău, the capital of Moldova.
Stăuceni commune is part of the Chişinău municipality. Two villages are administered by the commune, Stăuceni and Goianul Nou.
Wines from Stăuceni[edit]
Grape varieties grown in Stăuceni include Aligote, Fetească [disambiguation needed], Rkatsiteli, Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot noir as well as a number of varieties used for table grapes. Indigenous varieties include Plavay, also known as Belan and Plakun.
