St. George’s Forane Church is located at Kaipuzha in Kottayam district, India. This ancient church was built in the year 1813. The church is standing on a high hill and is visible to the naked eye from miles. It was renovated two times and belongs to the Knanaya Christians of Kaipuzha. As of early 2006, it has approximately 713 families as members of the church. Other churches that fall under the Kaipuzha Forane are: Palathuruthu(Kaipuzha), Neendoor, Kallara(Old), Maananam, Kurumullor, Manjoor(Makudalayam), Chamakkala, Vechoor, and Ettumanoor.
