St Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic High School or Guzzies as it is commonly known, is a voluntary-aided Catholic comprehensive school in the town of St Helens, Lancashire. The school has approx. 725 students whose ages range from 11 to 16. The school has been awarded Specialist Arts College status.

The school is a voluntary aided comprehensive school.
There are currently a wide ranch of subjects to choose from once a pupil reaches year 10, these include History, Languages, Art, Drama, Geography, Health and Social care and Leisure and Tourism. Students will choose 3 subjects to follow their core courses (English, Maths, Science, ICT and RE)

The school has a wide range of facilities available to the students including 3 computer rooms with the latest technology fit for GCSE. The recent Astro-Turf is a facility where students can experience a P.E. lesson in football or netball. Other Facilities available in the sports department include the recently constructed changing facility.
A brand new toilet block has been recently constructed.
A recent Art gallery is available where students can post their work on a professional art board for visitors to see.

It is estimated that around 725 students attend St Augustines, making the school's listings full. In 2012-2014 st augustines will be merging with st cuthberts to make an academy.

The current headteacher is long-standing member of staff and graduate of St.Helens College, Linda Mousdale.
