St Michaels Catholic and Church of England High School is a co-educational voluntary aided comprehensive school for students aged from 11 to 16. The school is jointly funded by the Education Department of the UK, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hallam and the Church of England Diocese of Wakefield. The school is located in Carlton Road, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. The headteacher is currently Mr Barber. It has recently become a specialist science college in late 2006. The school is symbolised by a dome-shaped chapel.

The school has a positive reputation in the area in which it is located, (Barnsley) particularly due to its receiving a very good OFSTED report which is shown (as a link) at the bottom of this web page.
