The station has a center platform, and is accessible from Royal Brougham Way. It opened on July 18, 2009, and 170,000-250,000 yearly boardings are predicted, dependent on the number and size of events at Safeco Field, CenturyLink Field, and the CenturyLink Field Events Center.
Next to the station is the start of a trail that parallels the light rail route. The trail stretches from South Royal Brougham Way to South Forest Street. The trail connects with the Mountains to Sound Greenway trail.
