Stand By Me 家人有约 is a Chinese drama that aired on MediaCorp Channel 8 (then known as Television Corporation of Singapore [TCS]) in April 1998.
This series won the Best Drama Serial award at the Star Awards 1998. Xie Shaoguang and Huang Biren were awarded the Best Actor and Best Actress awards respectively.

The show stars Xie Shaoguang, the main character who plays a paraplegic who once had an affair. Huang Biren who plays the role of a caring and patient wife (of Shaoguang), Terence Cao who plays an incorrigible gambler, May Phua his sister who is on adversarial terms with him, Deborah Sim who plays Terence Cao's love interest, and Joey Swee who is Shaoguang's former mistress.
