Stará Říše (Czech pronunciation: [ˈstaraːˈr̝iːʃɛ]) is a small town (městys) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of 17.78 square kilometres (6.86 sq mi), and has a population of 694 (as at 28 August 2006).
Stará Říše lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) south of Jihlava and 132 km (82 mi) south-east of Prague.
