State Road 992, know locally as South 152nd Street and Coral Reef Drive, is a short, 2.40-mile (3.86 km), east–west highway in Richmond Heights, Florida, USA, connecting the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (SR 821) and U.S. Route 1/SR 5 (South Dixie Highway).

[edit] Route description

SR 992 begins at the western terminus at the Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike, and is a four lane divided street through a residential area for nearly its entire route. Near the eastern terminus, the road crosses Palmetto Golf Course on the south side of the road and Jackson Memorial South Hospital (formerly Deering Hospital) and other emergency services on the north side at the corner of SR 992 and US 1, the eastern terminus of SR 992.[1][2]

South 152nd Street/Coral Reef Drive exists as a local road past both ends of SR 992. Just west of the western terminus, the road passes by the Miami MetroZoo and the Gold Coast Railroad Museum (formerly Richmond Naval Air Station), while east of US 1, it continues through residential areas to terminate at a boat dock on Biscayne Bay.
