[edit] Route description

From its beginning at Jemison, State Route 155 travels in a northwestward direction as it leaves Chilton County. Crossing into Shelby County, the route continues, passing through rural areas of the county. Southeast of Montevallo, the route junctions State Route 25 and turns west, creating a brief wrong-way concurrency.

State Route 155 diverts from State Route 25 at Montevallo and resumes its northward trajectory. The terminus of the route is at its junction with State Route 119 near the entrance to the campus of the University of Montevallo.
