State Route 278 is a north–south state route located in the central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's southern terminus at State Route 26 northeast of Cochran, the route runs northeast to its northern terminus at U.S. Route 80/State Route 19 in Montrose. The route crosses, but does not have an interchange at, Interstate 16.
