State Route 282 is a west–east state route located in the northern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. From the route's western terminus at U.S. Route 411/State Route 61 south of Chatsworth, the route runs southeast, along the former route of State Route 61, before continuing east. The route passes from Murray County and into Gilmer County, and continues east to East Ellijay, where it meets its eastern terminus at State Route 5/State Route 515. The route is cosigned with U.S. Route 76 for its entire length.
