State Route 759 is the designation for the surface road east of the junction of Interstate 759 with U.S. Highway 411 in Gadsden. I-759 is a four-mile route that provides direct access from Interstate 59 to the eastern area of Gadsden. The limited access portion of the route ends at US-411, and continues eastward for two additional miles until it junctions with State Route 291.

SR-759 is currently the highest numbered state route in Alabama; the next highest route is State Route 299. However, the tentative designation for the Jefferson County Northern Bypass is State Route 959.

SR-759 is the only odd-numbered route in the state that is signed as “east-west” rather than “north-south”.
