Stephan Beckenbauer (born December 1, 1968) is a Munich-born former footballer, the son of Franz Beckenbauer. Beckenbauer's career began with FC Bayern Munich, the same place where his father saw the most success, before he transferred to local rivals TSV 1860 München. He also played for 1. FC Saarbrücken both inside and outside of the top level of the Bundesliga. Today Beckenbauer is a coach with Bayern Munich.
