Stephen Clarke (born 21 July 1973) is a former Canadian college and international swimmer who was an Olympic bronze medalist. Clarke was born in the United Kingdom, attended university in the United States, and competed internationally for Canada.

Clarke was born in Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England in 1973.

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, Clarke won a bronze medal with the third-place Canadian men's 4×100-metre medley relay team, together with Mark Tewksbury, Jonathan Cleveland and Marcel Gery.[1] Clarke's best individual performance came four years later at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he finished seventh in the 100-metre butterfly.[1]

Clarke received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he swam for the Florida Gators swimming and diving team in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) competition from 1992 to 1997. He graduated from the university with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sport sciences in 1997.
