Stephen W. Cushman (born 10 Sep 1980) is a American drummer, who, until 2000, was the drummer for Relient K, a Christian rock, punk, alternative band.[1] He drummed for the band's first full-length album, a self-titled debut. Cushman left the band in 2000 and joined Ohio-based Narcissus. Upon his departure, Dave Douglas became the drummer for Relient K.

Cushman's style of drumming was very different from that of Douglas. Cushman maintains friendships with current and former members of Relient K.

Cushman then was a member of "Wesly," a former Christian rock band from Canton, with musicians Keith Hill, Jon Myers, Fred Sickels, and Matthew "Biscuit" Troyer.[citation needed]

In 2009, Cushman founded a paint company — Cushman Painting, LLC — in Canton and Louisville, Ohio. It is a painting contractor of exteriors and interiors of buildings and houses.[2] He also has led worship at Faith Family Church in Canton.[citation needed]

On August 29, 2003, Cushman married Layla L. Goff.
