Steve Marr

Steve Marr (born on June 6, 1984 in Kamloops, BC) is a former professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Leader Flyers of the Sask West Hockey League, a senior league in west central Saskatchewan.

In 2005, he signed as a free agent with the Calgary Flames. On June 22, 2007, he was traded with a 7th round draft pick in 2007 to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenceman Adrian Aucoin. In December 2008 he was transferred to the Herner EV, which is playing in the 3rd German Division (Oberliga). He also spent time in the Blackhawks' farm system with the Pensacola Ice Pilots.
