Steven Cerio (born September 8, 1965), is an American artist, musician, writer, and composer. He has some published works of his own and has done a large body of work for magazines and the San Francisco rock group The Residents
Cerio was raised in Liverpool, NY, where he attended a high school of the same name. He then attended Syracuse University, where he received a BFA in 1987. He lived in Manhattan for several years and did a short stint as the drummer for Railroad Jerk. He now lives in Central New York where he continues to illustrate for magazines, books, and other media such as DVD.
Recently, Cerio has contributed to the book of friend and colleague Stephen Kasner. (Stephen Kasner WORKS: 1993 - 2006).
