Stop Motion Pro is a stop motion animation software compatible with Microsoft Windows. It is targeted for children because of its easy use. It has features such as the ability to add sound, convert it into a movie file, and allows for the editing of slides. Other features include onion skinning, chromakey (greenscreen) and lip sync.

Stop Motion Pro comes in several types: the Educational/Junior, Standard, Professional and HD types. The price range is from $70 – $595. It requires a video camera, webcam or digital still camera to take pictures with.

Stop Motion Pro was used to film the Wallace and Gromit TV special A Matter of Loaf and Death. This won a BAFTA for best animation short.

A feature length animation is being filmed in Australia with Stop Motion Pro called Mary and Max, made by Academy Award winning animator, Adam Elliot.
