The Strathdon Caledonia Pipe Band (SCPB) is the only grade three pipe band in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. SCPB regularly competes in Highland Games competitions sanctioned by the Midwest Pipe Band Association in the United States. The band wears the Ancient Dunlop tartan.

SCPB is a registered 501(c)(3) teaching organization dedicated to the instruction and performance of the Great Highland Bagpipe and Highland Drumming. SCPB is a competition and performance-oriented pipe band committed to nurturing the values of dedication, practice, teamwork, respect, responsibility, community service and tradition - always in a fun and encouraging atmosphere!

History[edit]

SCPB was created in June 2007 to preserve and promote the art of piping and drumming. On the competitive side, SCPB is the only grade three pipe band in the entire states of Nebraska and Iowa. Our Grade III band has been formed from the remainance of former pipe bands, which are now either dissolved or have lowered in grade level and competitive focus.

On the community side, SCPB continues to reach out into the community taking an active role in local school performances, such as Brigadoon, playing at senior centers and educating the public in Celtic arts, in particular the Scottish arts, through both music and dance.
