The streaked rosefinch (Carpodacus rubicilloides) is a true finch species (family Fringillidae). It is one of the rosefinches that might belong in the genus Rubicilla or Uragus.

It is found in Bhutan, China, India, and Nepal. Its natural habitat is boreal shrubland.

Taxonomy[edit]

Carpodacus rubicilloides is genetically grouped with Uragus sibiricus and not with other Carpodacus finches.[2][3][4]
