Strike Zone is a Star Trek: The Next Generation novel by Peter David.

In this book a race of aliens who have fought with the Klingons for centuries, called the Kreel, find a large stash of advanced weapons hidden on a strange planet on the Kreel-Klingon border.
They are established as scavengers. They had, in the continuity of the novel, plundered the destroyed colony that was Worf's childhood home.
