Studia Humaniora Tartuensia is an open access peer-reviewed academic journal established in 2000 and available online as an electronic journal. Its purpose is to publish scholarly papers and notes embodying original research in classical studies, ancient history, Neo-Latin studies, classical tradition, and history of philosophy. It publishes papers in English, German, French and Latin. The journal also publishes book reviews and notices. It is edited and published at the Department of Classical Philology of the University of Tartu, Estonia and indexed in the Bulletin Analytique d'Histoire Romaine,[1] Central and Eastern European Online Library,[2] Directory of Open Access Journals,[3] and Gnomon Online[4].
