Studio IMC (Interactive Multimedia Culture) is a New York City -based new media firm that was started at Yale in 2001 and incorporated in 2004. It is a team of programmers, designers, artists, and researchers, mostly coming from NYU Tisch's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) and Yale. Studio IMC produces an annual trade show and Interactive art show, the IMCexpo.
Clients have included the Museum of Modern Art PS1, Museum of TV & Radio, Hennessy, Heineken, Clear Channel, Toyota, US Army, the NJ Nets, and the Houston Astros; software has been used on billboards in Times Square, on Major League Baseball stadium jumbotrons, and on movie theater screens across the nation. Studio IMC also has 2 patents pending and IMC’s work has been covered by the Associated Press, NY Times. Wired Magazine, NY1, the Discovery channel, and Rollingstone magazine as well as the book, ""Virtual Sets and Pre-Visualization for Games, Movies and the Web", by Jean-Marc Gauthier. StudioIMC is owned by James Tunick, Tony Rizzaro, and Eric Alini.
