Su You was a military general serving under the warlord Yuan Shang during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. He and Shen Pei both were tasked with the defense of Ji Province. As Cao Cao was then closing in on Ji Province, Su was just about to surrender but then fled after realizing that Shen Pei knew it to be a trap.
