Subterranean is an MCD released by the Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames in 1995. This is the only release with vocalist Henke Forss. It was remastered and re-released in 2003 by Regain Records. Two bonus tracks were added, both being covers - "Eye of the Beholder" (by Metallica) and "Murders in the Rue Morgue" (by Iron Maiden).

"Dead Eternity" is featured on The Jester Race, with Anders Fridén as singer. "The Inborn Lifeless" also appears on The Jester Race, but with a different name and lyrics (there titled "Dead God in Me"), and with an alternate ending and slightly different solo.
