OSN[1] is a pay TV network in the Middle East and North Africa that offers international television entertainment content such as movies, sporting events and various TV series, both locally produced and international.

As of 2014 OSN offers around 145 television channels with movies, series, sports, documentaries, news, children's entertainment, and talk shows.[citation needed]

OSN has exclusive rights from major Hollywood film studios including Warner Brothers, Paramount, Fox, Disney, Sony, MGM, Universal and DreamWorks, and shows content from Disney channel, Sky News, Discovery Network, National Geographic, and others.[citation needed]

The OSN Platform is owned and operated by Panther Media Group Limited, registered in DIFC[clarification needed] owned by Mawarid Group and KIPCO. Gulf DTH F.Z. L.L.C. is the operating company behind the digital pay TV broadcaster, OSN. OSN's corporate headquarters and Broadcast Center are based in Dubai Media City in the United Arab Emirates.

In August 2013, OSN acquired Pehla Media & Entertainment, offering around forty channels in a variety of South Asian languages in the Mena region, with content such as Bollywood and cricket, including the ICC Cricket World Cup.[2]

OSN has 53 high-definition channels and 3D entertainment. OSN launched OSN Plus HD,[3][4] an online TV viewing platform, OSN Play,[5] and a VOD service, OSN on Demand.
