Susan Miller, Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer

Susan Elizabeth Miller, Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer (born 1 January 1954) is a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords. Married to Humphrey Temperley. 2 daughters (1 deceased) 3 stepchildren.
Miller worked in book publishing. She served as a councillor at parish, district and county levels from 1987-2005, leading South Somerset District Council and as a member of Somerset County Council. She was made a Life Peer as Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer, of Chilthorne Domer in the County of Somerset in 1998. She is Liberal Democrat chief spokesman in the Lords on Home Affairs. She campaigns on human rights, the environment and for a nuclear convention. She has parliamentary links with Central and South American countries. Her interests are sailing, gardening and travel and, of course, reading.
