The Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto

The Sutton Place Hotel Company is a collection of luxury hotels located in Canada and United States, owned and managed by Northland Properties Corporation with their head office in Vancouver, BC.

Properties currently located in: Edmonton, AB; Revelstoke, BC; Vancouver, BC; and Chicago, IL. A property in Toronto closed in June 2012 to make room for a new condo development by Lanterra Developments and renaming the building to The Britt Residences.[1]

Sutton Place Hotel, Toronto[edit]

Opened in 1967, the 33 storey building was built on the site of the former Wellesley Street Public School (a Victorian High Gothic building built 1874 and demolished 1960s).

Sutton Place Hotel, Vancouver[edit]

The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver is one of Canada's only two hotels to be awarded the AAA 5-Diamond Award.[2] The Toronto and Chicago locations hold the AAA 4-Diamond Award.
