Swan 45

The Swan 45 was designed by German Frers and built by Nautor Swan and first launched in 2002. The class is recognised by the International Sailing Federation in November 2005

The International Swan 45 Class Association was formed as the owners association to support the class and promote racing amongst owners which led to the class becoming an ISAF Recognised Class. This entitled the class to hold World Championships
