Sworn Amongst are a metal band from Kingston upon Hull, England.

After the band's inception in September 2002 they made their first live appearance in May 2004. Following on from this they finished second in the Kerrang! sponsored Snickers Unsigned competition of 2005.

In 2006 they appeared on the main stage at the UK's Bloodstock Festival, alongside other metal bands such as Deathstars and My Dying Bride.

In June 2007 the band signed to Rising Records, and in March 2008 released their debut album And So It Begins. A heavy stint of touring followed to support the release (over 100 dates), including the Thrashing Like Maniac European tour with California's Bonded By Blood and Ireland's Gama Bomb. After an appearance at 2009's Hammerfest, the band concluded the touring for their debut album, taking part in the Insects and Attitude UK tour with Breed 77 and Susperia.

Early 2009 saw the band return to the studio to write and record their second album, Severance. The album was released in February 2010. The band have since been touring the UK and Europe in support of the release.
