Sydenham Institute of Management Studies and Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) was founded in the year 1983 by Government of Maharashtra.

  • Location: Located in Mumbai.
  • Library: The SIMSREE library has a collection of about 10500 books on a variety of subjects of interest to the management field. It also subscribes to 32 national and international journals and magazines. It has a collection of 150 CDs, 100 video cassettes and 50 audio cassettes for the purpose of reference. The library also subscribes to 8 newspapers in English and Marathi. And the library for the benefit of students is open from 8 am to 8 pm.
  • Systems Lab: The institute has a computer lab and a systems lab with computer systems. Institute has Wi-Fi in its campus.

Masters of Management Studies (MMS)

The Institute offers the Masters of Management Studies (MMS) course, a two year full - time post graduate degree course affiliated to the University of Mumbai, since 1983. This course is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)

The Institute offers a two year full - time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM). This is the only fully autonomous management programme offered by the Government of Maharashtra and run exclusively by and at SIMSREE. The institute kicked off with Diploma in Business Management, a one year course in 1976. This course was converted into a two year post graduate program in 1992 and the curriculum was accordingly updated.
