Symella is a Gnutella file-sharing client for Symbian S60 smartphones. It is available for mobile devices based on the S60 Platform 2nd and 3rd edition, but 1st and 5th edition of S60 are not currently supported. Plans have been announced to develop a version for S60 v5. Symella supports multi-threaded downloads which means that if multiple users have a particular file then it downloads the file from several locations simultenously. It can also download multiple files simultaneously.
Symtella is a free Open source software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License. The developers of Symella also develop a Bit Torrent client for the Symbian S60 platform, called SymTorrent.
