TAF Linhas Aereas is an airline based in Fortaleza, Brazil.[1] It operates regional passenger and cargo services.

The airline was established and started operations in 1971 by pilot Ariston Pessoa de Araujo. It was formerly Taxi Aéreo Fortaleza.

Since September 2008 TAF does not operate domestic passenger flights and since April 2009 international passenger flights. It is concentrating its efforts on cargo and postal services.

On June 15, 2010, the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil suspended the operational license of TAF and the airline was grounded.

TAF flew from Fortaleza airport to Cayenne in French Guyana and Belém and Macapá in Brazil until April 2009.
