Background [edit]

The network's lineup consists of inspirational and faith programs in different genres such as: church services, music videos, concerts, talk shows and children’s programs, movies. Over 80% of its programs are produced in Latin America by ministries such as Claudio Freidzon of Argentina, Cash Luna of Casa De Dios in Guatemala, and US Hispanic organizations such as Guillermo Maldonado of Miami, Florida, and Marcos Witt of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, among many others. Concerts and music videos are key components of this line-up of programs featuring singers such as Jesus Adrian Romero, Funky, Julisa, and Daniel Calveti. Programs are produced in several countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Caracas, Argentina, Bogota and in several US cities. Enlace's main headquarters is in San José, Costa Rica. In addition, Enlace owns and operates studios, offices, and call centers in most Latin American countries. In the US, Enlace's broadcast facilities are in Irving, Texas.[2] They also feature programs, such as Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer and John Hagee, whose programs are translated into Spanish.[3]

Technical Information [edit]

On the air in the U.S. as early as 2002, Enlace is currently available through various cable services nationwide, totally free on digital sub-channel X.4 in areas of the United States with a TBN DTV station, and all across North America, including Mexico on Glorystar Christian Satellite. The network is also available via streaming video and audio on their official website and at different speeds for dial-up and broadband connections. The streams can also be used externally in browsers and media players. As on April 2011, Enlace is one of nine channels that are featured with live real-time webcasts on the TBN Mobile App, developed by Trinet Internet Solutions, Inc., and available for free on iTunes for the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.[4] An EDGE, 3G, 4G or WiFi connection is required for the live broadcasts.[5]

On December 16, 2009, DirecTV in the United States added Enlace on Channel 448, attaching it to many different English, Spanish and International packages. DirecTV has noted that special equipment such as a specially designed dish may be needed to receive Enlace TBN.[6]
