Final Resolution

Final Resolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. The event was originally scheduled to take place every January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, meaning two Final Resolution's took place in 2008.

Final Resolution (2006) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on January 15, 2006 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the second event under the Final Resolution chronology. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.
- Pre-Show match: Team Canada (Petey Williams, Eric Young, and A-1) defeated Lance Hoyt, Jay Lethal, and Kenny King (05:54)
- Williams pinned Lethal after a Canadian Destroyer.
- Pre-Show match: The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Konnan) defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) (03:50)
- Homicide pinned Stevens after Konnan hit Stevens with a Slapjack.
- Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong defeated Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley, and Sonjay Dutt (with Traci) (10:31)
- Shelley pinned Bentley with a Small Package.
- The James Gang (Kip James and B.G. James) defeated The Diamonds in the Rough (David Young and Elix Skipper) (with Simon Diamond) (07:47)
- Kip pinned Skipper after a Cobra Clutch Slam.
- A.J. Styles defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi (11:03)
- Styles pinned Tanahashi after a Styles Clash.
- During the match, Shannon Moore ran in and attempted to hit Styles with Styles's "Mr. TNA" plaque but accidentally hit Tanahashi.
- Sean Waltman defeated Raven in a Raven's Rules match (8:06)
- Waltman pinned Raven after an X-Factor off a ladder through a table. Larry Zbyszko made the count after the referee got knocked out, and ignored Raven's foot on the ropes during the deciding pinfall.
- As a result of losing, Raven was fired from TNA.
- Bobby Roode (with Coach D'Amore) defeated Ron Killings (9:49)
- Roode pinned Killings after a Northern Lariat when Konnan distracted him.
- Abyss (with James Mitchell) defeated Rhino (09:18)
- Abyss pinned Rhino after a Black Hole Slam onto a steel chair.
- America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) (with Gail Kim) defeated Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (12:43)
- Harris pinned Ray after a DDT.
- Ray had pinned Harris but the referee was blinded when he made the pin, Team Canada ran in afterwards and laid out Team 3D and put Harris on top of Ray. When the referee's sight returned he saw Harris on top of Ray and awarded AMW the match.
- Samoa Joe (c) defeated Christopher Daniels to retain the TNA X Division Championship (15:33)
- Joe won by forfeit when A.J. Styles came out and threw in the towel to stop Joe from attacking an unconscious Daniels.
- Sting and Christian Cage defeated Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown (15:05)
- Sting pinned Jarrett after a Scorpion Death Drop.

- Riggs pinned Havok.
- Pre-Show match: Lance Hoyt defeated Chase Stevens (02:04)
- Hoyt pinned Stevens after a Fireman's Carry Flapjack.
- A.J. Pierzynski and Dale Torborg were in the audience and heckled Hoyt resulting in a confrontation after the match.
- Rhino defeated A.J. Styles in a Last Man Standing match (14:44)
- Styles failed to answer the ten-count after Rhino hit a Gore Through a Table.
- Chris Sabin defeated Christopher Daniels (c) and Jerry Lynn in a 3-Way Dance to win the TNA X Division Championship (11:42)
- Sabin pinned Lynn with a roll-up while grabbing the tights.
- Paparazzi Championship Series finals: Alex Shelley defeated Austin Starr (10:18)
- The judges were "Samolian Joe", "Big Fat Oily Guy" and Bob Backlund.
- Shelley pinned Starr with a roll-up, and Shelley was presented a bowling trophy.

- Young won the second fall, a contest to see who could hold their urine in the longest, after Storm wet his pants.
- Storm won the third fall, who could drink the longest without passing out, when Young passed out.
- Kurt Angle (c) (with Karen Angle) defeated Christian Cage to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship (18:45)
- Angle pinned Cage after a springboard elbow smash from A.J. Styles and an Angle Slam.
- During the match, A.J. Styles interfered on Angle's behalf.[1]
